Company Director	Corporations Act 2001 - Civil and Criminal sanctions are applicable.
Partner	Joint and several liability Partnership Act

Income tax and related revenue legislation requires that business records be maintained for a period of 5 years. The Corporations Act requires that accounting records be maintained for a period of 7 years after completion of the transaction to which they relate.

Note that there are penalties imposed for non compliance.
